This black and white photo shows Bobby Darin at home in Hollywood, dressed as a cowboy and tossing two toy pistols into the air. The playful moment captures his lighthearted personality, circa 1952.

Bobby Darin was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor whose versatility allowed him to perform across genres including jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing, and country. He began his career writing songs for Connie Francis before becoming a star in his own right with hits that showcased his smooth vocals and charisma on stage and screen.

About the Photographer

Frank Worth was a confidant and friend to many Hollywood stars during Hollywood's "Golden Age," when they were constrained by the powerful studio system. Due to these close relationships, Worth captured stars in elements and scenes not seen elsewhere. This is his famed collection.
