Black-and-white publicity still from Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), one of Universal Pictures’ most iconic monster films. The image shows the Gill-man looming over a terrified woman on the sand - a classic "damsel in distress” moment that became synonymous with 1950s creature features.

Directed by Jack Arnold, the film starred Julie Adams and Ricou Browning (as the creature in underwater scenes).
