Rock Hudson portrayed Bick Benedict, a wealthy Texas rancher whose life and family form the heart of Giant. Starring alongside Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean, Hudson delivered one of the most acclaimed performances of his career, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor after the film’s release in 1956.
