John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie met in 1952 at a dinner party in Washington, D.C. when Kennedy was a member of the House. They married just over a year later in the fall of 1953. They were married for about ten years before JFK was assassinated in Dallas, Texas while he was seated next to Jackie Kennedy.
